Frequently asked questions
What is a webhook?
A webhook is an automatic HTTP notification sent as soon as an event occurs. Instead of checking for new data yourself, the scraper sends the data directly to your URL as soon as it is ready.
How do I set up a webhook endpoint?
You provide us a URL that can receive POST requests. This can be your own API, but also services like Zapier, Make (Integromat), Slack or any other platform that supports webhooks.
What data is sent?
The webhook contains the full scraped dataset in JSON format, including metadata like timestamp, scraper ID and record count. You can fully customize the payload structure.
What if my endpoint is unreachable?
The webhook has a built-in retry mechanism. On a failed response or timeout the webhook is resent multiple times with increasing intervals. You never miss data.
